Bunkface ROCKS!!

Local music SUCKS-ASS!!
That was what I used to think, for non-chinese music anyway.

After coming back to Malaysia and listening to the radio more often, I actually find some of the local music quite awesome, especially BUNKFACE (they are like my most favorite local band!). Their songs are so rockin' awesome that I didn't even believe they were by a local band the first time I heard them (pardon my ignorance -_-''). Whenever a new song by them is being played on the radio, I swear I thought it was by some other bands like Green Day, Sum41, The All-American Rejects or something like that. They are seriously that good.

Here's a funky MV of "Silly Lily" that I found on YouTube. I'm not sure if this is their official MV, but it's worth a watch =P This is the first song that got me interested in them.

Some of their other awesome songs include "Prom Queen" and of course "Through My Window", which caused a whole lot of buzz a few weeks ago thanks to TM's successful viral campaign.

I don't want much, I just want everything
Thought that I could, do almost anything
One step in front of the other
Thought that I could do it alone

In the blink of an eye, it's just another day
Telling me why, I'll find another way
Got this feeling, got me reeling
I can almost start believing

Now there's me and you
And we are not alone
You and me
We are together now
Through my window, I can see
Our wildest dreams could be so real

I'm a virgin. SO WHAT?!

Yes, I'm a 20-year-old virgin. It's not like I'm against pre-marital sex. I just believe that my first-time should be with someone that I really love. It is just unfortunate that I have not met that special someone yet. Besides, according to the Durex's Summer 2007 newsletter, the average age for Malaysians to lose their virginity is above 22-years. So there's still plenty of time *hehehe*  =P

In the mean time, I shall learn how to use a condom the proper way. So when the time comes, at least I'll know what to do if he doesn't XD

  1. Open the condom pack carefully, ensuring that you don't accidentally tear the condom.
  2. Expel air out from the condom tip by pinching the tip of the condom (I didn't know you have to do this =S) and roll it all the way down the shaft of a hard cock.
  3. Use water-based lubricants. Never use oil-based lubricants as oil damages the condom.
  4. After 'cumming' hold onto the base of the condom and gently pull out the cock while the cock is still hard. (I didn't know this either...)
Note: Instructions copied from a brochure for World Aids Day to promote safe-sex by PT Foundation.

This post is prompted by the "safe-sex package" that I got a few days ago on campus during the NGOw Week, from the PT Foundation (a.k.a. Pink Triangle) booth in support of World AIDS Day (1st December). It is for the benefit of those who do not know how to use a condom properly due to the lack of sex ed. Malaysia really needs to put more effort in improving this aspect of education in schools. Although it may increase promiscuity in this rather conservative country, it is most definitely better than having an increase number of people with HIV/AIDS, abortion and so on due to unprotected sex.

HAPPY FUCKING PEOPLE =)
STAY SAFE!

Thermomix TM 31 - Vorwerk

I am not a fan of door-to-door sales, but it was really fascinating seeing this super-duper kitchen appliance in action.

The Thermomix TM 31 by Vorwerk is an all-in-one food-machine. It weighs, cut, chaff, knead, stir, blend, steam, bake, cook, stew etc and nearly cleans itself. Sounds unbelievable?? It's impossible?? BELIEVE IT!!

With a few simple touch of a button and turn of a dial, anyone can cook up a full course dinner with this ultimate food-machine. You will never have to worry about over-boiling or burnt food every again.

"Cooking with Thermomix is mere child's play: delicious, healthy and - above all - fast."
- Vorwerk

Something this great will always come with a great price. This machine here cost more than RM5000. It is a rather reasonable price to pay considering the number of engineers who put their effort in developing this product. But are you willing to pay that much?

To be honest, I would rather use the money for something else. Even though I think this machine is really incredible, I'd still like to cook the traditional way once in a while, especially when it comes to baking. It is just more fun when you get your hands dirty =P

However, for those who burn their cereal and over-boil their water, this may be a good option to consider *LOL*

Note: This product does have a few minor flaws. It may move while operating on high-speed and food may sometimes escape if it is not covered properly. Hence, it is unwise to leave the machine totally unattended while operating.

The Little Lulu Show

I was reminded of this cartoon while browsing through Facebook. It was one of my favorites; I used to watch it every morning ^_^ This cartoon is quite old, but I've managed to YouTube snippets of it. Enjoy!

Little Lulu, Little Lulu, with freckles on your skin,
Always in and out of trouble, but mostly always in.
Using Daddy’s necktie for the tail on your kite,
Using Mommy’s lipstick for the letters you write.

Little Lulu, Little Lulu, there's no one quite as smart,
Doesn’t matter what you’re doing, you’re doing it with your heart.
Shining girls are dancing, there's a sparkle in your eye,
When can we look forward to your next surprise? What a surprise!

Though the clock says 7:30, it’s really after 10,

Looks like Lulu’s been repairing it again.
Though you’re wild you know it’s tru-Lu,
And you’re very hard to tame,
Little Lulu, We love you-Lu just the same, the same,
Little Lulu, We love you-Lu just the same.

BIG family

I grow up in a relatively big family. I tried to draw a proper family tree but it got too big and complicated Here is a simplified version of my family tree.

I did not extend on my grandmother and maternal grandparent's side because I'm not sure how some of those relatives are linked to me. How many of you can honestly say that you know all your relatives?

Anyway, here's a breakdown of having a big family:

Pros
  • More relatives = more friends = great network
  • If something happens, there's always someone there.
  • More food during gatherings ^_^
  • If your relatives are scattered around the world, there's usually free room and board when you go travel.
  • It is always more lively and fun during festive seasons and gatherings.
  • More "ang pau" during Chinese New Year.
Cons
  • Gossip (no matter good or bad) spreads fast.
  • Everyone does not necessarily get along well with each other.
  • Sometimes it can be quite noisy during gatherings.
  • You forget how to greet those relatives you see only once a year.

This is just a snippet of how it is like having a big family, it will take me forever if I were to list down everything. But it is clear that the pros outweighs the cons. I like having a big family and would not choose to have it any other way =)
